Welcome to our family! We are a community of people who believe in God and believe that God seeks a personal, intimate relationship with each of us. GetReadyNow.net is seeking to promote open discourse about God as a way to strengthen the values, in action, that are derived from a faith in God.

We believe that God loves everyone, and thus, we welcome all to join our fellowship. We respect all faith traditions. We also respect anyone without a faith tradition if that is someone’s personal choice.

Faith generates certain values. But those values are meaningless unless they can be applied to life’s choices and situations. Those values include: love and service of others, patience, kindness and promoting understanding and harmony amongst people of diverse backgrounds.

We hold special value to the family structure. We believe that faith in God should empower a man and a woman to form a stronger partnership of commitment blessed by God. Marriage is an equal partnership where a couple equally shoulders the burdens as well as the rewards of a loving relationship.

We want to discuss and investigate the universal truths that are prevalent in most of the world’s religions. Above all, rather than merely promoting or critiquing any particular doctrine, we want to promote a specific ethos that is the essence of spirituality.

We believe that Jesus of Nazareth was most exemplary in articulating and embodying that ethos. It is an ethos that says that each individual, regardless of economic, educational, social status, racial, cultural or religious background has the same value in the eyes of God. In God, we are all members of his royal family. This ethos stands as the essential basis for human dignity, freedom and social justice.

We believe a personal relationship with the living God should, by nature, cause each of us to view nation, racial, cultural and even religious differences as secondary to our core common identity as people loved by God. As such, we believe to promote such a truth is the truest foundation to promote harmony and understanding toward building a peaceful world. After all, if it is true that God loves all as his own children, then you must be my brother or sister. This is the heart that we seek to share with you and with the world.

If you are searching for a faith community, everyone is welcome to join ours, however if you already have a faith community, we certainly will respect that. No one needs to change their faith to participate in our fellowship. We fellowship with people of virtually all faith traditions and everyone is strengthened accordingly. Everyone has something unique to share and we can all benefit from a discourse based on mutual love and respect.
