He is the same God who has seen all of history, yet He still has hope in each one of His children that we can start anew. In prayer, I can sense that He has such a deep heart, but also wants to be simple. God is love, that's all there is to it. That's how He can hold on, and that's how I can always come back to Him.
God never changes. His love is always there, and I know when I don't feel it, it's still there, because God never abandons his children. Even in the moments when I feel so alone, he is there to guide me, and I know that with his help, I can be a true disciple of his word.
It's like what I heard a great preacher say. . .what religion were Adam and Eve? They "walked and talked with God". ..no Bible, no church, no doctrine. ..just direct communciation and sharing of heart. . .that's the original form. . .let's never forget!!
He is always there, I can talk to him on a 24 hour basis,
aloud, in my heart, and most of all I can see his expression
in nature, this means a lot to me, not to be forced just to
find him in a building or one church only . He has no
favorite religion and he is colorblind.
